**About the Role**

Green Care Project is a progressive Landscape Architecture, Construction and Horticulture company based in Fortitude Valley with the intent to guide nature back to balance, and people back to nature.

The Landscape Maintenance Team Leader role is a hands on role, leading a team of 2-3 crew members to maintain a portfolio of high-end residential landscapes across Brisbane. As part of the role, you will also work on small softscaping projects such as garden refurbishments, plant outs and tree installs

**Responsibilities**

Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role in the industry is essential, as your responsibilities will include:

- Mentoring and delegating on-site tasks to a small team of 2-3 workers
- Maintenance services including pruning, weeding and lawn maintenance
- Identification and treatment of weeds, pests and diseases in both plants and turf
- Management of long-term maintenance strategies
- Planting, feeding and fertilisation of plants and turf assets
- Softscaping works such as planting, drainage, edging, turf and mature tree installs
- Reporting to the Horticulture Manager on project outcomes and team performance
- Understanding and following WHS protocols on site

**About You**
- Minimum 2 years of team leading/supervisory experience on similar sites
- Sound horticultural and softscaping knowledge
- Ideally, have a Certificate III Horticulture / Certificate III Parks & Gardens / Certificate III Landscape Construction or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- White card
- Drivers licence
- Machinery and MR Truck license is a plus but not essential
