Hays are currently working with an exploration company that is looking for an Environmental Advisor.
**Your new company**
This role is working with a medium-sized company that is currently in the exploration stage. This role will be reporting in to the Environmental manager and working closely with the exploration geology team.
**Your new role**
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Conducting fieldwork, including groundwater sampling and inspections, while coordinating sampling activities
- Oversee the delivery of clearing and construction compliance requirements through management of contractors and staff
- Prepare, submit and deliver reports, presentations, and regulatory documents
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits and assessments, while tracking and recording relevant environmental data sets
- Maintain the Legal Compliance Register, liaise with operational departments, and engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Knowledge of the statutory environmental requirements applicable to Western Australia
- Knowledge of the key relevant government departments in Western Australia, including exposure to planning, co-ordinating and implementing baseline studies, regulatory approvals
- Valid WA C Class licence
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
