**Construction Worker - Leading Hand**
- *As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou has an exciting opportunity for experienced Leading Hands to join Georgiou.

Your key accountabilities will include:

- Plan and oversee the work of a project team and subcontractors
- Able to carry out a wide variety of civil construction tasks, including drainage, road sealing, asphalting and concreting.
- Ensure all works are completed within the relevant standards and timeframes.
- Ensure all work undertaken is compliant with Georgiou’s policies and procedures and upholds the required workplace health and safety standards.
- Participation in and actively contribute in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions)
- Read, interpret and understand specifications, standards and drawings.

**What you’re good at**:
This position requires a self-starter, team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated experience working on TMR specifications.
You will have:

- Current drivers licence
- 2 - 5 years previous leading hand experience in civil construction on local and major road projects.
- Demonstrated skills in managing and motivating a work team to deliver project outcomes
- Background in all aspects of civil construction,
- Excellent and genuine safety attitude
