**MERCHANDISE ALLOCATOR**

Are you a Retailer who knows how important it is to have right stock, right place, right time? We are looking for a passionate allocate that will assist the Merchandise planning team partner with the Retail stores to ensure that they have optimum stock levels. This is a role where you can make a real difference to business results

The Merchandise Allocator role is fast-paced and tasks vary greatly from day to day; from initial allocations of new merchandise to stores to ensuring optimum individual store stock levels and stock mixes are maintained through regular and accurate replenishment.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?**

**The Merchandise Allocation Analyst is responsible for -**
- Allocate new stock allocation according to company store grading.
- Detecting trends within specific product categories, styles and colours from store to store when analysing the company's sales and inventory to determine which products in what quantities will be sent to stores
- Providing crucial support to the Merchandise Planning Team by inputting orders and packing list details, monitoring deliveries and store stock levels
- Acting as a key point of contact for State/Area Managers and stores regarding stock levels and category mix
- Working closely with the Logistics/Distribution Team to ensure effective and timely movement of stock to and from stores
- Weekly Consolidations
- Enter markdowns into System and communicate markdown to stores
- Run selected Monday reports for the business and ensure this is delivered to Key Stakeholders in a timely manner

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- strong numerical, analytical and decision making skills
- excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- self-motivated - handles pressure and can work unsupervised
- demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills - with the ability to coordinate with various departments
- recent retail (shop floor) or stock management (logistics) experience.
