The role they currently have on offer is for an experienced **Export Ocean Freight Supervisor** to join and run their team. You will oversee a team of 5 export personnel and ensure the effective running of the department by allocating work flow, providing training and support, managing escalations and client queries and providing a great team environment. This is a high volume bulk commodities export function so your knowledge in this area will be an advantage as well as your attention to detail, career drive and professionalism.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Team leadership including work allocation and supervision
- Customer liaison and relationship management
- Build and manage relationships with shipping lines
- Ensure processes are regularly reviewed and operating efficiently
- Work with Operations Manager to support staff growth and development
- Lead regular team meetings and check-ins
- Liaise with government departments as required
- Superior customer service skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role
- Strong leadership qualities and skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
