Undeniably, our client delivers on some of Queensland’s most important services and continually operate through a large, diverse, and geographically dispersed workforce.

Given the magnitude of their workforce, our client has recently created a Centre of Excellence with a focus on employee relations and industrial relations to ensure that the employee experience is prioritised as a pillar for their continual success. As such, our client is looking to bring onboard two Employee Relations Advisors to support their growing high-performing workforce.

**About the opportunity**
As the Employee Relations Advisor, you will report into the ER Manager and work closely with the broader team to support across matters pertaining to both employee and industrial relations. You will manage and lead end-to-end investigations and support case management until completion. As you build rapport and relationships quickly with employees and other key stakeholders, you will work to identify trends facing the workforce, and deliver initiatives and workshops to showcase fit-for-purpose and best-practise solutions.

You will also:

- Support the ER Manager across Enterprise Agreement negotiations and other key ER/IR projects.
- Facilitate end-to-end case management to provide outcomes favourable to both employee and the broader organisation.
- Work proactively to deliver workshops and initiatives which address ER challenges facing line managers and employees.

**About You**
You will be an enthusiastic and proactive Employee Relations specialist who is excited to develop their skills in this space. You will thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment and be comfortable operating with ambiguity and autonomy. You will bring exceptional written and verbal communication skills and you will manage stakeholder expectations effectively on balance with employee requirements. You will be confident in your ability to effectively manage cases in line with contemporary best-practise and current legislation to provide an excellent employee experience.

You will also bring:

- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience managing cases and conducting investigations from end-to-end.
- Meticulous attention-to-detail and the ability to proactively identify gaps and opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of current relevant Employee Relations legislation and contemporary best-practise.
