We're currently seeking a **Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Business Partner** to join our team and champion a proactive safety culture across our dealerships, service centres, and operations.

**About the Opportunity**

As the WHS Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our safety strategies, systems, and frameworks across the Group. You will work closely with Senior Managers, Leaders and teams to build capability, reduce risk, and ensure the wellbeing of our people and customers. The role requires the utilisation of an online WHS Management system (Donesafe) to support the continuous improvement of safety across Autosports Group
- Provide expert advice and support on WHS legislation, policies, and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks
- Partner with leaders to drive continuous safety improvement
- Monitor compliance and ensure best-practice WHS standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure a safe work environment
- Provision of information to assist with board reporting
- Providing support to the WHS Committees

This role reports into the General Manager, People and Culture and is a great opportunity for an experienced WHS expert who is looking to develop their business relationship-building skills in a growing ASX listed company.

**About You**

We are looking for a proactive WHS Business Partner to lead the day-to-day safety operations within our team. You will be based in our Head Office in Leichhardt, but you will work within a broader team based across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand. You will partner with general managers, department managers and workers in the management of Work Health and Safety in a blue
- and white-collar environment.
- Proven experience in a WHS advisory/partnering role, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, logistics or related industries
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and standards (WHS Act & Regulations)
- Experience influencing and coaching operational teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications in WHS (Cert IV minimum, Diploma highly regarded)
- RTW Coordinator certification (preferred)
- Preferable automotive experience or Factory/ Workshop experience

This role will need to travel across various sites, so a driver’s license is essential (and you will get a company car to use).
