**About the facility**

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

**Safety, Quality and Improvement**

Barwon Health's Safety, Quality and Improvement unit provides support to the organisation in the areas of accreditation, incident and complaint management, clinical audit, risk management, policy and procedure management, medico-legal services and Consumer Centred Care.

**About the role**

The Consumer Partnerships Project Coordinator supports meaningful engagement and participation of consumers in their own care, within programs and services, in systems development and improvement and in organisational governance.

Working closely with the Consumer Partnerships Team and wider Safety, Quality and Improvement unit the role undertakes projects which develop and implement systems, procedures and processes related to partnerships with consumers.
