**THE ROLE**
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting roll out of data governance framework, lead development and automation of finance and business intelligence reports using Tableau and Power BI and implement strong controls for gas and cylinder stock management across terminals.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data quality standards and implement data validation processes
- Develop advanced reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate and efficient stock management across terminals
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to stock management, sales performance, and operational efficiency insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement related to data management, reporting, and stock management
- Extract and transform data from various sources
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analysis tools, reporting platforms, and stock management best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations,
finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective communication
**IS THIS YOU?**
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, information systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge and experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of data governance principles and experience in maintaining data quality and integrity
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data manipulation techniques
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
