MAYDAY Recruitment is currently in search of an experienced
**Sales Consultant** to join a leading provider of premium timber products and solutions in the building industry. This person will work in partnership with builders to secure sales for a range of timber products - construction timber, decking, flooring, formwork material etc.

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving continued company growth, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

- $70,000 - $80,000 salary + super + commission/bonus

**The role**:

- Support customers onsite with exception customer service, provide them assistance with orders and pricing enquires
- Prepare customer quotations for timber
- Manage your follow up process to convert quotes into orders
- Use your initiative to identify and pursue new customers and opportunities
- Develop new customer relationships and generate referrals
- Cross-sell and up-sell products to increase sale values
- Ideally around 3 years sales experience in a B2B setting
- Experience selling products to different trades would be a strong advantage
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and influence tradespeople
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for driving growth and sales
