**The Role**
Due to growth, we are looking for a Principal Consultant - Modern Cloud to join us on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be responsible for leading cloud and infrastructure projects, whilst also building a sales pipeline of engagements, maintaining relationships with clients and developing junior peers in the practice.

**Your responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Lead client engagements and build client relationships to develop an understanding of the right fit of modern cloud consulting offerings to help our clients take their next step.
- Promote market offerings and generate client discussions, leads and opportunities to achieve cloud and infrastructure objectives.
- Develop proposals, assist with tender responses and provide support to account managers and business development managers.
- Manage budget and forecasted effort for client engagements.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the wider team that uplifts the quality of deliverables and provides proactive, constructive feedback on areas of development.

**What skills you will bring to the team**:

- Extensive experience of the broader technology ecosystem, common approaches to managing technology, modern technology concepts and expertise in at least one focused area of practice.
- End-to-end engagement lifecycle management experience, from pre-sales and account management activities to billing.
- Strong experience in successfully leading engagements that have produced business outcomes.
- Ability to develop, lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to identify problems and develop solutions using contemporary approaches.
- A cloud principal consultant should have a natural focus and strength across the following areas:

- Public Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Cloud-Native Architecture (Microservices, Serverless Computing).
- Cloud-Native Databases (Azure CosmosDB, AWS DynamoDB).
- Cloud Security (IAM & Network Security).
- Cloud Migration (re-platforming & re-hosting strategies).
- DevOps and CI/CD.
- API Management (Azure API Management or AWS API Gateway)
