Utilise your technical expertise to protect Hydro Tasmania’s operational technology (OT)

We are seeking a Senior OT Security Analyst to protect Hydro Tasmania’s operational technology and support security operations across our OT landscape. You will be a trusted advisor influencing key security outcomes and contributing to our broader security initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Implement strategic cyber initiatives aligned with key frameworks and standards (e.g., AESCSF and IEC 62443)
- Supervise the execution of cyber security operations and lead development of initiatives through analysis and risk management
- Proactively provide expert advice and monitor security events
- Brief leaders on OT-specific threat intelligence and security trends
- Support and maintain cyber security capabilities to detect, respond to and recover from incidents

Who you are

You have hands-on experience with operational technology or industrial control systems with exposure to security operations and/or incident response. Your experience and skillset also include:

- Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas to a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated hands-on coding and scripting capability with the ability to learn new languages
- Strong understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls and monitoring tools

What we offer

Salary range $135,459 – $157,027 plus super. We offer a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for career development.
