We are seeking a passionate BCBA to join our growing Team to lead, manage and shape our ABA program, making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

The Behaviour Centre is a private clinic offering early intervention services for children and teenagers. Our purpose-built clinic is based in Gledswood Hills NSW.

We provide evidence based early intervention services to children with autism and other disabilities or disorders. Our early intervention treatment approach utilises the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis, which is data driven for optimal treatment outcomes.

Our early intervention programs are highly individualised with a focus on teaching functional skills and working with the child as part of the family unit. The parents are an integral part of our programs and we help train them in the theoretical and practical aspects of Applied Behaviour Analysis so they may continue to practice of their child’s goals outside of the clinic.

**Your role**
- To design and implement skill acquisition programs utilising the principles of ABA (essential requirement).
- Implement ABA plans, document contacts and observations, and use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements for clients.
- Provide training to, and clinical supervision of, behaviour therapists through observation, meetings, performance coaching and other methods.
- Provide consultation, training, modelling and assistance to team members, as needed, in strategies and methodologies for working with children on the autism spectrum and/or who have behavioural, adaptive and/or social/communication challenges.
- Establish and maintain data measurement, collection and analysis systems for clients receiving behavioural interventions.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and complete assessments and reports as required.
- Ensure all intervention plans and programs comply with contract requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations, and meet or exceed professional standards.
- Maintain highly organised, consistent, thorough, and systematic recordkeeping practices.
- Effectively coordinate with administrative personnel and colleagues at The Behaviour Centre.
- Demonstrate workplace behaviours that align with The Behaviour Centre’s values and philosophy.
- Engage in other reasonable duties as directed.
- To train, support and collaborate with parents, teachers/educators, and other support workers in the implementation of a behavioural strategies.
- To offer parents, children and educators practical strategies and support to overcome and manage complex behavioural challenges in various community settings.
- Set the strategic direction for our ABA programs, ensuring excellence in assessment, intervention and supervision.
- Provide guidance and support in developing innovative training and teaching methods for staff.
- Use and oversee the implementation of appropriate assessments and software such as VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R and others to develop skills building programs that reflect identified behavioural objectives and other outcomes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the highest quality of ABA services.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field and disseminate research and best practices to staff.

**Benefits and Remuneration**
- Competitive salary. Full-time salary = $100,000 - $120,000 including Superannuation based on experience. Part-time salary is pro-rata a full-time salary.

**Essential Criteria**
- Accredited BCBA/BCaBA or working towards accreditation.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing programs using ABA teaching methodologies and a variety of data collection tools.
- Experience in diverse paediatric mental health and/or educational contexts predominantly with preschool and or/primary-school aged clients.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children with developmental delays and a variety of challenging behaviours.
- Excellent self-motivation and autonomous working skills with good accountability.
- Ability to liaise effectively with other professionals such as preschool/school staff, paediatricians, speech pathologists and occupational therapists in order to provide a cohesive program for each child.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including high quality report writing skills and strong rapport building skills.
- Enrolled or completed post graduate study in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related.
- Proficiency in a variety of program assessments and software, including VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, EFL and others.
