**Job description**

Amani Care Services (ACS) is a Registered NDIS Provider, operating in Bayside & Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne as well as West and South Gippsland.

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to Join our team in Bayside & Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne and West and South Gippsland.

**About you**

You have a positive attitude and empathetic nature as well as being a caring individual who is keen to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You are adaptable and treat others with dignity and respect. Work well within a dynamic team but also capable of following direction and take initiative. Previous caregiving experiences an asset (not essential).

**Duties will include but not limited to**
- Support individuals of all ages with intellectual impairments, mental health and/or physical disabilities.
- Must be creative and resourceful to assist participants achieve their goals - providing high quality 1:1 support with Daily Living
- Support individuals with in-home care, supported accommodation and community-based activities.
- Complete all relevant documentation and reporting.
- Build great relationships with our clients among other tasks.
- And any other task assigned.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Completed, or close to completing, a Cert IV inDisability (or related certificate)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain prior to commencing)
- Working With Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencing).
- Current Driver’s license and reliable car among other essential qualifications.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

**Experience highly regarded**:

- Mental Health
- Experience with support related to high intensity nursing.
- Medication Assistance & Administration
- Experience with complex & challenging behaviours

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $52,455.00 - $65,888.00 per year
