IB&M’s Capital Structuring (CapS) business is focused on delivering structured capital solutions to our customers and giving them a seamless and integrated experience when they are using our credit products and services. CapS operates 6 businesses: Private Equity Financing, Securitisation, Structured Asset Finance, Structured Solutions, Credit Portfolio Management and Global Lending Product Transformation.
The Chief Operating Office (COO) is the team that supports the development of the CapS strategy, Annual Operating Plan and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework to enable growth and deliver optimal outcomes. The COO team represent CapS on key Group & IB&M initiatives, manages the IB&M Transaction Governance Forums, drives the Customer Breakpoint program and supports operating expense management. The COO assists the CapS businesses in navigating policies, processes and systems to reduce bottlenecks, capacity constraints and delays that can impact customer and staff experience.
**Your Impact and Contribution**
The Associate Director role will report through to the Chief Operating Officer, Capital Structuring and support the implementation of the strategy and driving changes that are the best fit for the CapS Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and will undertake targeted activities to drive customer centric culture and outcomes. You will be responsible for the development and optimisation of business systems (e.g. Customer Relationship Management system) and process for CapS and creation of related collateral for governance and training purposes. You will assist with remediation of issues and incidents from audit, operational risk and compliance matters. You will investigate root causes of complexity and manual process, source and analyse data to develop insights, provide accurate reporting, identify unclear accountability or capability gaps and drive end-to-end simplicity and management of operational risk.
You will be detail-oriented, and an adaptable team player with a passion for solving problems and driving meaningful change.

- Qualifications in a business-related discipline
- A strong understanding of Institutional Lending products, processes and systems
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and collaborative skills
- Curiosity and desire to drive change and deliver improvement across the business
- An understanding of financial and non-financial risk management and credit risk issues
- Intermediate Excel, data analysis, Tableau and/or Sharepoint skills (desirable)
