**Acute Specialist Clinics Clerk - Scheduling Team**- Permanent Part Time, Monday to Friday, 7 days per fortnight-

We believe our people make the difference.**About the role**- An opportunity exists in Specialist Clinics across all campus for a passionate and enthusiastic clerical staff member. Eastern Health Acute Specialist Clinics are a busy department of the hospital, meeting the needs of patients from the community by providing a range of specialist services. Approximately 160 000 occasions of service are provided annually. These include new patients referred from the community, review appointments for ongoing care and post admission follow up from Eastern Health’s network of hospitals.- Clerical staff are a highly regarded member of the multidisciplinary team that ensure Specialist Clinics functions well. Services offered in Specialist Clinics include, Orthopaedics, Plastics, General Medical, Surgery, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Respiratory, Liver, and Paediatrics.**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will possess:- Year 10 level English written and spoken-
- Knowledge of patient management systems (iPM, CPF, EMR)-
- Computer competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel-
- Advanced telephone skills and clerical skills-
- Ability to provide quality customer service in a friendly and professional manner to support high quality patient centred care-
- Excellent communication and organisational skills-
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team- Please refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
