**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an Environment Manager to join QIC on a permanent full time basis. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the environmental sustainability elements of QIC Real Estate's ESG strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and to lead the ongoing development of environmental strategies.

We are flexible for this person to be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of programs aligned to QIC Real Estate's ESG Strategy across asset management, development projects and capital transactions aspects.
- Guide the delivery of QIC Real Estate's Net Zero carbon emissions target by 2028.
- Monitor and quantify the financial impacts of climate change and drive the delivery of climate resilience measures across the asset portfolio.
- Manage ESG data and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Complete environmental sustainability reporting and benchmarking obligations, including QIC Real Estate ESG Report, GRESB Reports, NGERS, NABERS, and Green Star.
- Monitor asset and fund level environmental sustainability performance.
- Collaborate with asset and national operations and investment teams to identify asset and portfolio-wide programs to drive improvements.
- Promote QIC Real Estate's environmental sustainability approach to clients through presentations and reports.
- Stay abreast of environmental sustainability trends and industry developments.
- Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of QIC Real Estate's ESG Strategy.
- Manage QIC Real Estate's environmental management system and monitor environmental incidents and corrective actions.

**About You**
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a similar role, with an understanding of working across complex organisations to develop and implement environmental sustainability programs and ability to interpret ESG data and reporting processes.
- Self-driven with a history of delivering measurable environmental sustainability outcomes.
- Experience in successfully promoting and influencing to deliver outcomes.
- Ability to manage time and pivot priorities, understanding deliverables required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
