**What you’ll be doing**:

- As an Income Assistant, you will be responsible and accountable for the day-to day processing related to specific areas of the Income team in the Newcastle Finance Office. You will also be responsible to train and supervise volunteers working in the Income team.

**You'll have**:

- Strong attention to detail.
- Numerate
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Good planning and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Tenacity to ensure resolution of issues
- Able to demonstrate initiative, e.g. through identifying process improvement, and showing flexibility

- The nature of this role requires the majority of the working week to be undertaken at the Newcastle Finance Office. There will however be the potential to work one day a week from home.
