**Create your best future and join Westpac as a Manager, Prudential Management** - Permanent Full-time opportunity - Sydney based - Hybrid working model **What’s the role?** The Manager, Prudential Management is a key 2nd Line role which ensures Westpac’s compliance with APRA regulations concerning credit risk management and capital adequacy. It provides consolidated governance across credit risk, credit risk capital, credit risk data, regulatory reporting, and credit provisioning. The role involves delivering updates to senior management, committees, and forums on credit data and regulatory compliance matters. It also manages information requests and interactions between Westpac and the prudential regulator, supporting transparency and accountability in regulatory engagements. This function plays a critical part in maintaining robust oversight and alignment with prudential standards across the bank’s credit risk operations. **What do I need?** - Knowledge of credit processes, credit risk data management and the credit regulatory environment within the financial services sector. - Knowledge or direc t experience in credit risk data governance is valuable. - Ability to identify, manage and remediate issues and actions.
