Test Analyst

**Opportunity snapshot:
**An exciting, contract opportunity has become available for a Test Analyst**
- This role will be responsible for day-to-day aspects of system testing for production tickets, BAU and projects which includes test planning, test scripts creation, test scripts execution, and reporting using the Bupa Australia standard test tool (i.e. HP Quality Centre).

**How will I help?**
- Produce the system test deliverables i.e. test plan, test scripts, and test data to the agreed timescale, budget and quality.
- Provide input into the test strategies, test plans and the management of defects in line with agreed procedures.
- Provide proactive support to other IT teams to ensure end to end testing can be performed across required platforms.
- For the provided requirements, plan and execute system testing, both functional and non functional.
- Deliver test documentations i.e. test object matrix, requirement traceability matrix and test cases for planned releases.
- Test defect fixes and log new defects by documenting step by step details to replicate the issue.
- Maintain awareness of industry “best practise” in testing and make recommendations to drive BUPA Australia’s methods and processes forward.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the test lead & test Manager to assist with testing deliverables.

**What do I need?**
- Be an SQL wizard within an agile environment.
- Produce the system test deliverables and document.
- Liaise across multiples stakeholder teams.
- Strong experience Data Migration testing required.
- Strong SQL skills required.
- Awareness of and exposure to data warehouse methods and concepts.
- Hands-on testing experience in all forms of testing including system, functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing.
- Data analysis skills
- Must be a good communicator who can also influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with Microsoft Test Manager is preferable.
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Should be able to create test cases for functional/ non-functional requirements and maintain traceability.
