**The Opportunity**
Rendu Towers by Ozcare is Brisbane's newest benchmark for inspirational and luxury retirement living with a supreme riverside location and brilliant urban design.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated 'jack or jill of all trades' with a green thumb and a knack of fixing things If you're an experienced, hard-working grounds person / handy-man, this is an incredible opportunity to join our team and help maintain this stunning new facility.

**Your Role**

We're seeking a proactive and conscientious grounds person to help maintain our newest retirement village - Rendu Towers in Newstead - and keep it in amazing condition for our residents.

You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance functions across the facility in accordance with existing frameworks, procedures and budget, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Carry out a variety of grounds maintenance works including mowing, whipper snipping, hedging etc.
- Conduct property maintenance functions including general 'fix-it' jobs and other handyman tasks
- Maintain care and order of facility equipment and supplies and ensuring they are well organised, secured and where required, replaced
- Perform all works with a 'can-do', outcomes-focused approach
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing
- Showcase a warm, friendly and caring nature
- Build positive relationships with residents and visitors
- Ensure the gardens at Rendu Towers bloom brighter than any place else

**Role Requirements**
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
- Demonstrated relevant experience in undertaking gardening duties and the maintenance of the grounds
- Ability to empathise with disadvantaged and/or older persons
- Experience in stock and/or equipment management
- Good computer and mobile device skills
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19 mandatory.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
