We are recruiting for an exciting role to work with our clients on asset closures that deliver on GHD’s core value: together with our clients, we will create lasting community benefit. These are significant, multidisciplinary projects involving disciplines such as civil, mechanical, wastewater, property and buildings, transport and power. A key role in these projects is the Study Manager to provide a pivotal role in managing the project.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and the internal team
- Managing, coordinating and administering the project from commencement to final deliverables
- Prime contact for the project
- Determining significant time schedules and milestones, coordinating the participation of responsible entities and defining the major task areas
- Supervises and monitor the development and progress of schedules and the study
- Maintain the project delivery process to meet the client’s goals, objectives and expectations
- Maintain safety and risk management systems during the project
- Resolves problems and may coordinate the project

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor degree qualifications in Engineering or other relevant discipline
- At least 15 years’ experience in design/project/operations environment
- Experience in managing complex studies in the energy and resources sector - from concept to detailed delivery and/or execution
- An unrelenting focus on the client’s objectives
- Demonstrated delivery and leadership skills
- Experience in developing proposals, budgets and schedules for new studies
- High attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
