Claims Service Consultant Level 1 | Customer& Operations | 15-month contract
- Hybrid working environment - (must be accessible within vicinity of your state CBD office.)
- Ability to work a rotating roster between the hours of 8am-6.00pm (local time based on your location)
- Ability to work a training roster from 9am-6:00pm (AEST time)

**The role**:

- Follow the AAL Claims Management Process and adhere to AAL standards to minimize claim costs
- Manage expectations and relationships with claimants, internal, and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team and the broader business unit.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide timely, effective responses to customer needs, adhering to AAL phone standards.
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

**About you**:

- Experience in Motor claims in a call-centre based environment for the entirety of your shift.
- Experience in claims management across various Commercial Motor product lines in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Possess tertiary or industry-specific qualifications.
- Ability to multi-task, navigate, and work throughout multiple systems and PDS in a timely manner.
- Experience in working with Insurance brokers.
- Meet technical capability and competence standards for professional progression, including submission of a portfolio (for AAL employees).
- Experience in claims management across various general insurance product lines in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
- Proficient in planning, prioritizing, organizing tasks, and managing resources effectively; skilled in interpreting complex information and making informed decisions, with high attention to detail and error identification.
