You are a hard working self-starter who is highly organised, likes to manage his or her own time and work independently. This is a full-time role that requires early starts. Usual work hours are 0600 to 1400, but you may prefer to vary these hours to improve the possibility of being able to access parking bays. There will be regular tasks assigned and for the most part you will be able to choose suitable times to get each task done.

Your job is to install and maintain our parking technology products on streets and in off street carparks. Our product is currently installed in approximately 5,000 parking spaces across Melbourne and nearby regional areas.

Because this work requires clear access to parking bays, early starts may be necessary. Occasional regional & interstate travel may be required as we have installations in other locations around Australia.

Regular installation tasks include:

- in-ground sensors;
- networking equipment on parking & utility poles; and
- parking space ID labels.

Maintenance tasks include:

- removing and replacing in-ground sensors;
- replacing parking space ID labels;
- replacing batteries in networking equipment; and
- decommissioning systems and repairing road surfaces where our systems are no longer needed.

No formal qualifications are required but a working knowledge of radio communications, computer networking and electric circuits would be beneficial. The Company will provide on the job training.

The company will supply a suitable vehicle.

Skills needed include:

- careful attention to detail;
- good spoken and written communications skills;
- competency with basic hand tools;
- operating a large SDS Max rotary hammer drill;
- comfortable working at heights with appropriate safety gear; and
- a solid understanding of working in the roadway rules (NOTE: if necessary the Company will send you on a training course for this purpose).

You will need to keep accurate records of your activity and regularly communicate results to our Melbourne-based Operations team.
