**About the Role**
Working closely with our other Senior Leaders and your network of Behaviour Support Practitioners in the Specialist Services Team, you will be responsible for leadership of Specialist Behaviour Support across Melbourne. You will have responsibility for all components of Behaviour Support delivery including mentoring your team and ensuring services are delivered to NDIS participants according to best clinical practice, regulatory obligations and within the scope of each person’s plan.
You will be the point of contact for providers, the NDIA, Quality and Safeguards Commission and the Victorian Senior Practitioner; and will work with your team to meet targets whilst ensuring best practice and excellent stakeholder relationships.
**About You**
**You will also have**:
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications including in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Developmental Education or similar areas of Social and Behavioural Sciences
- Qualification in Positive Behaviour Support would be an advantage however are not essential
- Experience in a leadership position in the human services sector and demonstrated ability to drive results at an individual and team level
- An understanding of the regulatory environment in which NDIS providers operate
- Commitment to the highest possible quality in providing positive behaviour support and the ability to communicate that to your team
- Endorsement as Proficient or Advanced Practitioner under the Commission’s Capability Framework
