The product designer team in Afterpay is responsible for: determining the right approach to execute strategy, balancing short and long-term goals and priorities, developing alignment with cross-functional partners, and presenting work in design critiques and leadership reviews. This is a cross-functional role where you will work with other designers, product managers, analysts and engineers.

As a product designer you will be responsible for planning, executing and shipping your work to millions of merchants across the Afterpay x Square x Cash App ecosystem. You will be paired with a Lead Product Designer in an environment tailored around your growth and development.

You will:

- create your own idea using existing design systems and standards; provide insights for improvement when necessary
- Acting as a product parter, interpret data and informed design decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative insights
- Acting as a product parter, collaborate effectively with your peer and guide the vision for our cross functional stakeholders; Lead with the voice of the customer and have a deep understanding of human centered design principles

**Qualifications**:
You have:

- At least (2-4) years of relevant professional experience
- A portfolio that shows work you were directly responsible for with little guidance from leadership
- Experience as a primary contributor to continuous streams of work
