Jacobs are on the hunt for an NV1 minimum cleared Technical Writer to support the ILS team in this important work package. This varied role is will be working with the project team responsible for designing a system that will become the future of Australian cyber security.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Plan, develop, organise, write and edit standard operating procedures and manuals
- Research, develop and write technical design specifications & technical manuals
- Developing written or visual product/process/technical documentation, business process maps, and user manuals
- Maintain quality assurance of documents continuity and style of content
- Develop and update Engineering and ILS documentation, including a range of technical management strategies and plans, logistic plans and instructions
- Manage updates and revisions to technical documents, procedures and manuals
- Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Tertiary qualification, certification, vendor course or relevant industry experience Demonstrated experience in strong technical writing skills
- Ability to be fully responsible for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Defence industry experience
- High level attention to detail
- Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance as a minimum
