**About the Role**:
The Technical Writer will work though a consultancy firm for a high-profile Federal Government organisation in Canberra. You will be working on several IT programs of work using your technical documentation skills to develop key products for this team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with project team and other relevant stakeholders for the successful delivery outcomes.
- Develop and maintain professional, respectful, and positive relationships with Clients, Project team, users, product owners, and suppliers across Defence Groups.
- Contribute to a harmonious team environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and team collaboration to deliver project outcome.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members, APS and third parties as required.
- Develop the written and visual products including:

- Software Application specific support guides;
- Technical architecture diagrams, business models, data flows and information relationship models; and
- Communication and change products including newsletters and presentations.
- Build a folio of standard templates for products such as Standard Operating Procedures, user support guides and Frequently Asked Questions.

**Key Skills**:

- Previous experience developing written and visual products
- Has a Negative Vetting 1 clearance and based in Canberra
