As the Data & Analytics Technical Platform Owner, you will lead a team focused on expanding and optimizing Lion’s Data & Analytics platform. This role involves overseeing data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning to empower the Insights team. You will support and advance the platform’s capabilities, foster a data-driven culture, and ensure adherence to data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Lead and mentor a data engineering team** to drive continuous improvement and support business objectives.
- ** Design and deploy high-performance data pipelines and architectures** to meet business needs and enhance platform scalability.
- ** Implement process and infrastructure optimizations** to automate tasks, improve scalability, and ensure data integrity.
- ** Collaborate with stakeholders** to resolve technical issues, support data needs, and drive platform innovation.
- ** Ensure compliance with data governance standards** and maintain secure, well-documented data environments.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

- ** Strong technical expertise** in data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data visualization.
- ** Advanced skills in SQL, Python, AWS (Athena, Redshift, Glue),** and experience with Power BI and SAP (preferred).
- ** Deep understanding of data architecture and modelling** best practices for scalability and security.
- ** Experience with Agile methodologies** and design thinking principles.
- ** Bachelor’s degree** in computer science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

- ** 12+ years in AWS Data Platform and Data Engineering roles.**:

- ** 10+ years in team leadership** within data engineering or analytics functions.
- Proven experience in **communication planning and execution** for cross-functional initiatives.
- ** Strong presentation and interpersonal skills** to engage stakeholders effectively.
