Accumax Global consult closely with Australian industries, including Civil and Industrial Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Defence, Marine, and Public Facilities, to create customised risk-management products.
The Role We are searching for a Purchasing, Logistics and Inventory Officer to join the team. This role is responsible for organising and coordinating all activities involved with purchasing a diverse range of sellable Accumax products. Working with management, the Purchasing, Logistics, and Inventory Officer will be integral in researching potential vendors and suppliers including sourcing of international suppliers, inspecting goods received and processing purchasing and inventory records. The Purchasing, Logistics and Inventory Officer should also be able to negotiate pricing and logistics costs and establish positive relationships to oversee product quality standards of such goods.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Sourcing materials, goods, products and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
- Review and optimise purchasing processes including materials forecasting and checking availability of stock with suppliers
- Date entry to ensure orders are correctly entered and tracked
- Ensure stocks are adequate for all distribution channels and can cover demand
- Oversee inventory flow and identify bottlenecks
- Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers

**What we are looking for**:

- At least 1 year expereince in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate pros and cons based on price, quality, delivery and other factors
- Strong data entry skills
- Sound organising, coordination, planning and time management skills
