**The Role**

We are looking for an Injury Management Consultant to manage a large portfolio of claims as well as enhance the national capacity of our services. You will require a high level of complex injury management and technical expertise in workers' compensation claims management.

**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:

- Manage a broad range of injuries end to end
- Coach and mentor other team members
- Provide advice to employers on injury and claims management legislative compliance to workers compensation and the impact of claims cost and liability
- Liaise with various third party providers including medical practitioners, insurers, solicitors and brokers;
- Attending Workcover proceedings, GP case conferences, file reviews and client meetings

**We’re interested in hearing from people who possess**:

- Tertiary qualifications within Allied Health or Personal Injury industry
- Work experience within the personal injury management or Workers Compensation industry
- Expertise in implementing relevant legislation as part of decision making within the insurance industry
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment
- A proven ability to manage a team and assist staff to grow in their roles
- Energetic, positive and enthusiastic, with an ability to “think outside of the box”
- Highly organised and efficient with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
