
Injury Management Advisor

We are currently seeking an Injury Management Advisor to join the team and play a pivotal role in supporting our workforce. If you are interested in taking the next step in your injury management career, this position offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real impact **This role can be located out of our Brisbane or Perth office on a 5-2 roster
**Key responsibilities -**
- Oversee the management of workplace injury cases from initial reporting through to return-to-work, ensuring all processes comply with relevant legislation and company policies
- Oversee the management of workers compensation portfolios in the Queensland and New South Wales jurisdictions
- Coordinate and facilitate medical case conferences with injured workers and medical practitioners
- Act as the primary point of contact for injured workers, providing end to end support and guidance throughout their recovery and return-to-work process
- Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated injury management efforts that meets the needs of both the employee and the organisation
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all injury management activities in solve and maintain compliance with workers compensation regulations and company policiesReview and risk assess pre-employment medicals to ensure compliance is adhered to
**Qualifications -**
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification in health science or an allied health profession (highly desirable)
- Injury management qualification (highly desirable)Certificate IV in Work Health Safety (desirable)
**Skills and experience -**
- Experience working within a worker's compensation and/or injury management-based role (essential)
- Clinical experience in a medical profession (highly desirable)
- Experience and knowledge with safety and injury management systems such as Myosh and Solv (highly desirable)
- An understanding of the relevant state work health and safety and workers compensation legislation (highly desirable)
- Ability to ensure accuracy of data entry, data analysis, reporting and recording
- Effective time management skills and self-discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- High level of numeracy and literacy skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written
