Liverpool City Council is seeking a talented Graphic and Multimedia Designer with both traditional and digital skills to serve the growing digital arm of Communications in one of biggest Local Government Areas in Southwest Sydney.

**ABOUT THE ROLE.**

Liverpool City Council is seeking a talented Graphic and Multimedia Designer with both traditional print and digital skills to serve the growing digital arm of Communications in one of biggest Local Government Areas in Southwest Sydney.

Supporting the** **Graphics Lead with design of all Council communications products, including advertising, flyers, corporate publications, online media, and signs. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat is required. Additional Videography, Video editing and animation skills will be highly regarded, including shooting, and editing in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Animate, Da Vinci resolve or Final Cut Pro. This is a highly varied role, and knowledge of web editing, UX design and social media best practices will also be advantageous.

**ABOUT YOU.**

Must have Professional experience in digital and traditional design practices - from concept to delivery.

To be successful in the role, you will be required to demonstrate advanced skills and experience relevant to this role. Such as:

- Qualifications in Graphic Design or equivalent
- Superior written and oral communication skills, combined with a capacity to build and maintain relationships consistent with the requirements and expectations of the position.
- At least 3 years demonstrated experience in managing various graphic design collateral.
- Previous experience in managing suppliers and consultants.
- Experience and knowledge in printing processes (including providing printing costs and estimates), advertising mediums, layouts, and networks.
