**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO is responsible for day-to-day management of the office of the CEO and providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the successful functioning of the office. The EA will work closely with the Executive Officer to the CEO.
You will be responsible for:
- Act as first point of contact within the Office of the CEO and manage CEO priorities, liaising and consulting with senior officials daily.
- Organise the CEO appointments and travel arrangements including the acquittal of associated expenses, credit cards and travel
- Screen contact, field inquiries and requests escalating urgent matters for the CEO’s attention
- Support the CEO in longer term calendar management to ensure work/office efficiency for the CEO and display flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated administrative skills and efficiency with office systems, including record keeping systems and processes.
- Personal integrity and the ability to deal effectively and discretely with sensitive and confidential information.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and ability to relate to and provide an administrative service to senior level stakeholders (internal and external).
- Highly developed organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions and prioritise and exercise discretion.
- A Diploma or Certificate IV in Business or similar would be an advantage however is not mandatory.
