**Position Information**:
St George Girls High School (enrolment 905 students, including 95% students from a language background other than English) is an academically selective high school with a well-respected history of providing exceptional educational outcomes and experiences for high potential learners since 1916.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach careers or currently undertaking or enrolled in the Careers Adviser qualifications approved by the New South Wales Department of Education (DoE).
- Demonstrated ability to engage tertiary institutions, community groups, careers adviser networks, school executive, teaching staff and parents/carers in authentic partnerships to effectively support and plan post-school destinations and pathways for high potential students.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, ICT and organisational skills to provide relevant careers information and advice to students, that includes a knowledge of entry requirements/schemes for tertiary study, to effectively mentor and support students in career pathway and transition planning.

If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Careers Adviser qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education, which must be completed within 12 months.
