**Note - This will be a 12 months contract role.**

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the South Pacific Procurement Manager, the Indirect Procurement Manager will work closely and collaboratively with both the Colgate-Palmolive and Hill’s Pet Nutrition businesses to provide support across a range of procurement related activities, including responsibility of spend management activity across a range of Supply & Demand categories, such as Facilities, Utilities, Labour & HR services.

Specifically they will provide vendor and purchase order support and undertake tactical buying along with strategic sourcing and category management activities & be responsible for achieving savings targets across allocated spend areas.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Executing plans to achieve annual savings and business simplification (supplier reduction, process efficiency) targets.
- Conduct strategic sourcing and category management activities for the follow spend areas as required:

- Facilities & Utilities
- MRO & Capital (mínimal)
- Labour & HR services
- Domestic Freight & Customisation
- Warehousing & Other Logistics categories
- Tactical buying across a broad range of indirect spend
- Negotiation of contract agreements with suppliers, in partnership with Legal Dept
- Provide support for Colgate’s purchase order and vendor management processes and systems by guiding and coaching stakeholders. All support will be in alignment with global guidelines and simplification initiatives
- Implementing metrics, tools, and new processes to optimize sourcing, supplier innovation and business simplification (Ariba Sourcing)

**Required Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or comparable discipline
- 5+ years’ buying experience and procurement process knowledge
- Working experience with any procurement tool (SAP,Ariba,etc.)

**Preferred Qualification**:

- Google Suite proficiency (Sheets & Slides)
