About Us:
Pool Coffee is a busy seaside café located opposite Mahon Rock Pool in Maroubra. We’re known for great coffee, Mediterranean-inspired food, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our front-of-house team.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same. Depending on the shift, you may be:

- Welcoming and seating customers with a friendly smile
- Making both hot and cold drinks (coffee, iced lattes, smoothies, frappes, etc.)
- Taking orders and operating the POS system
- Running food and drinks to tables
- Clearing tables and maintaining café presentation
- Assisting with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties

Typical hours:

- Weekdays: 6:00am - approximately 4:30pm
- Weekends: up to approximately 5:30pm

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year barista or café experience in Australia preferred (at a busy cafe)
- Can handle at least 5-8kg solo
- Confident with both espresso and cold beverage preparation
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Weekend and early-morning availability required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.85 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
