**Resource Scheduling Specialist / Crew Scheduler**

**About the Role**

We’re looking for a proactive Resource Scheduling Specialist to join our Intermodal team. In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate the daily allocation of crew and assets (500+ train crew, 1,400 wagons, 130 locomotives) to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations across Australia.

**What You’ll Do**
- Allocate crew and rolling stock to meet daily operational plans
- Manage and update rosters, including changes and contingencies
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources with operational needs
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety and industrial standards

**What You’ll Bring**

You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative, innovative approach. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication is essential, along with proven relationship management skills as a collaborative team player.
- Experience in labour/asset planning and rostering
- Background in rail, transport, or heavy industry (advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
