This role requires a professional and enthusiastic Sales Support and Compliance Coordinator to manage our relationships with customers and develop sales opportunities in Australia.
You will provide support to the MD of the Australian office and the BD team in their BD activities. Implement sales and business development strategies for the organization and monitor progress against objectives. Analyze and report on sales opportunities including license sales, site and Enterprise deals and development contracts. Create and sustain effective relationships with key customers, partners and resellers. Generate and close sales. Ensure compliance in the areas of Defence security, WHS and QMS
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work with the sales team to build strong, long-term, professional relationships with key military, industry and academic customers including provide customer support and maintaining sales database.
- Coordinate BIA presence at trade shows by engaging with external contractors / organisers and attending in a sales capacity.
- Coordinate events both internal and external including visits from stakeholders, customer training and demonstrations.
- Identify new opportunities/projects through online tender portals.
- Assist with the preparation and review of development proposals for the BD team.
- Liaise with Defence and Industry Partners for attendance at external events such as showcases, work placement, career expos etc.
- Act as Security Officer with oversight from Chief Security Officer including administration of security clearances for BIA staff and submission of Annual Security Report to DISP.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards by maintaining the Quality Management System and all related documentation including preparation for annual audit.
- Oversee BIA WHS requirements as the WHS Representative with guidance from the WHS Officer (MD). This requires the completion of First aid training which will be provided.
