A position has recently become available for a Fund Manager | Build to Rent to join our Australian Investment Management business based at Barangaroo, Sydney. This is a full time, permanent opportunity, reporting to the Head of New Business, Investment Management Australia.

As the Fund Manager, your primary focus will be to execute the programmatic venture strategy, working closely with Development to continue to expand Lendlease’s position in this space You will be responsible for the performance of the fund, establishing and driving its strategic direction and be the primary point of relationship and accountability with investors.

Your new role will see you implement the Fund strategy and business plan and identify new opportunities, as well as oversee the marketing of the fund and manage key relationships with capital partners and the wider Lendlease business.

Given the development led nature of the strategy, the Fund Manager will work with relevant Lendlease team members including capital transactions, origination and development to drive and oversee the acquisition of investment opportunities from conception through to completion.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, the ability to negotiate, a collaborative mindset across the broader business, an ability to foster external relationships, and a deep understanding of residential development and operating asset performance drivers.

The ideal person will bring the following skills and experience to the team:

- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Property or Finance Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Investment Management or residential development
- Proven strategic capability with the ability to navigate through complex environments, ambiguity and change
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Client and outcome focused approach
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, in order to establish and maintain a positive and cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
