The Mahony Group are on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our awesome team at The Windsor Alehouse.

We are a fun and friendly local pub with an extensive range of craft beers at the core of our offer. We love live sports, music and our trivia nights are up there with the best Our food aligns with everything that’s great in our lovely pub, whether that’s a hearty winter special with a great glass of red by the fire or our awesome parma while watching the footy. We’re everything you want from a great local pub. If you love the local like we do, then this is the opportunity for you to further your hospo journey.

Our friendly locals are the bedrock of the pub, however our hostel above brings a variety of adventure seekers through our doors and provides great opportunities to meet and greet new visitors. It’s an exciting, varied workplace which will provide a great challenge for the suitable applicant.

What we can provide:

- A friendly, inclusive working environment in the most welcoming pub in the Windsor/St Kilda area. Supportive management structure within this family run company.
- Gain valuable experience in accommodation management, assisting the management of the 80 bed hostel located above the pub. No experience needed, full training given.

About you:

- 2 years’ experience in a similar role or environment.
- A big personality that will welcome locals and new customers alike. A strong leader that’s a positive presence in the team and can instill great values.
- Don’t just pour beer, love beer. We have a rotating cast of awesome beers, help source up and coming breweries, create cocktails and see your selections shape our drinks listing.
- A trainer not two worn out sneakers We don’t expect you to do the hard yards and the heavy lifting, we want to someone who can recruit and develop a team to deliver our shared goals.
- A hard worker.. but a smart worker. there’s no need to do 50 hour weeks, just someone who is industrious, reliable and honest with an eye on safety and compliance.
- Target driven, a commitment to achieving outstanding sales results. Drive like for like sales with exemplary service of great food and beverage. Create, shape, and deliver events with sports, music and trivia at the core that drive visitation.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $79,999.00 per year
