**Your new company**
Large commercial business based in Mentone is actively seeking a Compliance Manager. This is a new role due to growth and a change in structure.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the CFO you will look after the following tasks
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensuring that the Organization is following all applicable laws and regulations in the division.
- Company Code of Conduct compliance
- Manage Internal Control Self-Assessment
- Revising procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
- Undertaking compliance audits and examinations, dissemination, and analysis of new or revised laws and regulations.
- Completing research on compliance issues.
- Compliance training for employees and providing guidance across the region.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate laws.

Group Data Protection Regulation
- Provide support and advice to relevant stakeholders to ensure implementation of the Group Data Protection Compliance Policy as well as locally applicable data protection regulations
- Provide Training on how to handle Personal data in accordance with Applicable DP Laws / Policy

People
- Liaise with other Departments and Managers
- Compliance training for employees.

Systems
- Responsible for the development of systems to improve efficiency and the quality of information used within the Finance Department for decision-making.

Reporting
- Divisional & Management Meeting presentations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree in Business, Finance, Project Management or Commerce.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in managing business compliance obligations including reporting, monitoring & implementing action plans
- Strong analytical, interpretive and communication skills.
- Experience in managing risk and compliance processes with the ability to identify risk and minimise potential liabilities to the business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
