The Manager Compliance is responsible for continuing positive change in the crucial function of compliance.

**Your new role**

The position ensures that the Institute has a set of systems to control, measure, and manage any risk it may face and support the business in its compliance with TEQSA, ESOS Act 2000, other legislative requirements and adhere to relevant laws as applicable. Further you will be tasked with;
- Assisting management at all levels in the discharge of their compliance and risk management responsibilities, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels in the areas of risk management and compliance.
- Conduct internal audits, the delivery agreed with the Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) of the Board. Investigating complaints, providing advice on compliance issues to organisation stakeholders and ensuring required actions are taken expeditiously
- Increasing the awareness and understanding of compliance issues and related policies and procedures across the organisation

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your desire to add expertise and value to a new organisation combined with extensive experience in a combination of audit, risk management and/or compliance roles within an education setting. This will be supported by;
- Completed degree in business, law or a related field.
- Ability to attend the CBD located office full-time, with proven expertise in liaising, training and influencing a range of stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge and appreciation of the academic environment and a thorough understanding of the broader higher education sector.
- Good report writing skills complimented by excellent computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
