**_ About the role_**

The Learning & Development Manager will work closely with the Head of HR and Head of Business Operations to drive a lifelong learning culture and develop highly competent and competitive Takeda employees, both professional office and front line employees.

**_ What you will do:_**

**_ ACCOUNTABILITIES_**
- Drive a culture of learning by linking both formal and informal learning to build workforce capabil[1]ity and performance outcomes.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Learning and Development (L&D) programs to meet strategic and operational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Head of Business Operations, and leadership teams to assess, build, and deliver capability workshops and soft skills training for Oceania employees.
- Build internal training facilitator capabilities, and coordinate onboarding for new employees.
- Promote and ensure the timely rollout of global programs, localising content where necessary.
- Utilise data and analytics to evaluate and improve training initiatives and effectively manage the talent budget.
- Conduct research to understand the problem, opportunity, or challenge, as well as learners’ environment, needs, motivations, and preferences.
- Coordinate and enhance management and leadership capabilities across the organisation in collaboration with the HR team.
- Support the development of high-potential talent by working closely with leaders.
- Develop and oversee the learning catalog and calendar, ensuring the provision of learning and training opportunities across the organisation.
- Ensure all programs meet current business strategic objectives, including regulatory and com[1]pany policy requirements.
- Own external partner relationships, building valuable, effective, and accountable partnerships.
- Hold quality and authentic conversations, providing relevant and timely feedback to focus on the development of people to build capability.
- Develop and implement effective learning and development policies, practices, processes, and programs to meet organisational needs.
- Building capability and skills frameworks, learner journey mapping, capability and talent assessments, capability benchmarking, and embedding learning through the 70:20:10 approach
- Assess organisational needs, and support the design, delivery and evaluation of selling skills, systems, campaign, new launch, and sales team onboarding training.
- Evaluate the right level of integration of Learning & Development in Takeda wide systems such as CRM.
- Implement, train, report, and enhance the use of metrics dashboards and digital systems (e.g., Bloom, Veeva) related to L&D and Sales Force effectiveness.
- Enhance and improve the skills of Sales Representatives, Marketing, and Medical team members to maximize business performance.
- Create a Strategic and Annual Training Plan and deliver personalised development and soft skills programs to ensure Takeda Sales, Marketing & Medical team members possess the required competencies to fulfil job requirements.
