**Job Title**: Support Worker

To support individuals in achieving independence, improving their quality of life, and meeting personal goals. This includes assistance with daily living activities, promoting choice and dignity, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist with hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility as needed.
- **Daily Living Support**: Help with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping.
- **Health & Wellbeing**: Support with medication, attending medical appointments, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- **Emotional Support**: Offer companionship, build positive relationships, and support emotional wellbeing.
- **Community Engagement**: Encourage participation in social, educational, and recreational activities.
- **Documentation**: Keep accurate records of care provided, incidents, and progress notes.
- **Safeguarding**: Follow safeguarding policies to protect individuals from abuse or harm.

**Essential Skills & Qualities**:

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Respectful of confidentiality and diversity

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Certificate III of individual support.
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.

**Working Conditions**:

- May involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Work may take place in care homes, supported living, or clients’ homes

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

- National Police Certificate (required)
- NDIS Workers Screening (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
