**Disability Support Worker**

**About the Role**We are seeking either a or Disability Support Worker to join our friendly team, supporting a client across both In Home Support and Community Participation.

**Shifts may include afternoons and the possibility of a weekend** with opportunities for additional hours as they become available.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support participants with daily living activities and community participation.
- Assist in supporting participants taking daily medication if required on shift.
- Support participant in achieving their NDIS goals.
- Support household tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Assist in preparing meals, this includes food preparation and clean up.
- Support participant in maintaining their garden.

**About You**You are a positive, proactive team player who takes initiative and enjoys supporting people to live meaningful and independent lives. You’ll bring compassion, flexibility, and professionalism to your work every day.

**You will also have**:

- Experience in the Support Worker field is highly desirable.
- Experience in Medication administration.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confidence in assisting participants within the community.
- Experience in client documentation and incident reporting.
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance and Australian Driver's Licence.
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- A valid NDIS Workers Screening Check and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- A valid Working With Children's Check.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable
