**About the role**

The Grampians Health Emergency Department services the Grampians region for all urgent medical needs. Consisting of 25 beds, with 12 short stay units and 3 resuscitation bays.

The EDCC role was established to support the access and flow in the Emergency Department. The EDCC works collaboratively with the mutli disciplinary team to facilitate earlier discharges home with home support services in place. Additionally, the use of respite and nursing home placements is also utilised. If you have a keen interest in supporting patients to stay at home longer this is the position for you.

No one day is ever the same in Emergency Department

- Previous community experience desired but not essential
