Sims is currently seeking a full-time Belt Picker/General Hand to join our team at our Wingfield yard.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays an important part in our recycling operations.

**What you’ll be doing**:
You’ll be working along a conveyor belt, sorting recyclable materials. It’s repetitive, physical work - perfect for someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a busy environment.

In this role, you’ll also help keep the yard clean, assist with general labouring duties, and adhok duties to support our processing operations.

**What we’re looking for**:
We’re after a reliable, motivated individual who’s ready to roll up their sleeves. While experience in recycling or conveyor work is a bonus, it’s not essential - we’re happy to train the right person.

**You’ll succeed in this role if you**:

- Are physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
- Have a good eye for detail and can stay focused
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Understand basic safety practices (or are willing to learn)
- Can pass a drug and alcohol test
- Bonus points for:_
- Experience in recycling, warehousing, or a similar industry
- Familiarity with conveyor belt operations
