About you

Your experience in workforce planning, rostering and supporting frontline teams, ideally within a health context, has been gained through operational roles such as a House / Team Leader or through traditional workforce planning / rostering teams. Either way you are a driven individual who enjoys a fast-paced role and are motivated by achieving great outcomes for people living with mental health issues and/or disability. Furthermore you will have:

- Experience leading teams and supporting others to develop
- Agility in being proactive as well as reacting and adapting in the moment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to manage large volumes of tasks through action and delegation
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of customer management and rostering systems as well as Microsoft365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

About the role

Reporting to one of our Senior Managers, this position leads our casual management function for our frontline NDIS workforce that supports people who are challenged with complex mental health and disability issues. This is achieved by ensuring our workforce is utilised to its full potential and all shifts in our rosters have been filled in collaboration with team leaders. It also leads our out-of-hours Incident Hotline function that provides support to our entire frontline workforce. In detail this role is responsible for the following:

- Direct line management of a small team of specialists in the delivery of high quality workforce rostering and shift allocations
- Direct and indirect management of our casual employees in our NDIS programs
- Workforce planning and analysis to monitor and maximise our casual workforce utilisation
- Ensuring an effective Incident Hotline is in place to support our workforce
- System administration and reporting
