Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to ensure Quality Installation of Ductwork & Mechanical Piping and provide quality service to Clients. Maintain and uphold company standards outlined in the role statement below.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to;
- Fabricate and install all facets of sheet metal/PVC/P3, duct work unsupervised on any given project, provide direction to others, problem solve, site measure and provide input to management in construction quality & WH&S.
- Fabricate and install all facets of mechanical pipe systems, Copper, Steel, Stainless Steel, work unsupervised on any given project, provide direction to others, problem solve, site measure and provide input to management in construction quality & WH&S.
- Works under limited supervision and can ‘site measure’, problem solve and communicate project requirements to his/her supervisor.
- All manual facets of the HVAC installations trade including but not limited to - PVC welding, operation of power tools, joining duct, making brackets, install duct and second fix installation of flexible ducts and outlets.
- Ability to read / understand and provide as-built information for mechanical drawings
- Measure and communicate materials and manufacturing requirements for projects
- Communicate on site with a Client or their representative
- Adhere to safe work practices related to the work site
- Actively contribute to working as a team
- Assist in Training Apprentices
